AGENDA:
Presentation by the Sierra Club requesting a decision to sign on to the
Climate Protection Agreement. Over 800 communities in the United States and
22 cities and townships in Michigan have already made the commitment to
reduce their carbon footprint. (20 minutes)
DISCUSSION:
Michigan Environmental Compliance Conference, June 17, 2008, Livonia,
Michigan
Township Board Agenda item for May 5 to request funding for 1 or 2
members to attend. Members need to discuss which member or members to send.
Department of Environmental Quality Encourages the Proper Disposal of
Household Medications
Members should begin looking into possible community awareness programs
to address this problem.
