Huron Watershed

When it was founded 36 years ago, the Council became the first regional protection agency in Michigan.

Their aim is to help keep the Huron River clean through activities such as creek monitoring, storm drain maintenance and river advocacy.

Brownstown is one of 25 communities that maintain representation on the council.
