About Our Deputy Treasurer

Deputy Treasurer Cindy Majlinger was hired in June 1993. After graduating from Gabriel Richard High School, she attended business school and received a degree in business administration. Prior to being hired by the township, she was employed in the Finance Department at the Detroit headquarters of Comerica Bank.

She is an active member of the Michigan Municipal Treasurers' Association, Michigan Townships Association, Wayne County Treasurers Association and the Association of Public Treasurers of the United States and Canada. (APT US&C).

In 2003, APT US&C awarded Majlinger the associations Certified Municipal Finance Administrator credential, and she was formally recognized for this professional achievement during the association's annual conference in Washington, D.C.

Majlinger is assisted in the department by two full-time employees.
