My family has a 30 year history in Brownstown which is when my father, Lorie Lodico, began developing and building within the Township. I have watched this community flourish and grow and I take pride that we played a role in that growth. My sister, Diane Horne, owns and operates the Karnak Creative Child Care Center and Infant Care Center here in Brownstown. My Brother, Lorie Lodico III, is a Civil Engineer operating as Karnak Engineering, also in Brownstown.

I have been the Broker/Owner of Karnak Realty for 11 years, specializing in the sale of residential properties throughout downriver. My husband, Rick Tipper, is the Owner/Operator of Quality Plumbing, also based in Brownstown.

My work within this township, coupled with my volunteer service for four years as a member and Chairman of the Brownstown Downtown Development Authority (DDA), has afforded me the opportunity to participate in the economic development and infrastructure improvements necessary for continued "smart growth." In addition, I have served on various task forces and subcommittees, all directed at improving our township.

As an officer for 5 years and Past President of the Downriver Association of Realtors and as an officer for four years and past Exalted Ruler (President) of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Flat Rock Lodge #1731 in addition to other leadership roles, I have acquired the knowledge and skills required of an elected official in our community. I have extensive budget preparation and negotiating skills, an excellent customer service attitude and I pride myself on my ability to compromise to obtain a win-win solution for all. I am professional and courteous, respecting varying opinions and valuing the efforts and work of our employees and volunteers.

I am the proud Mother of two daughters, Tara and Tiffany, an attorney and teacher, respectively. I am also "Grandma" to two very special little boys, Austin and Lincoln.

I thank you for the opportunity to represent Brownstown Township as a Trustee and will strive continuously to improve and maintain services to our residents and business owners in a fiscally responsible way.
