The State of Michigan has made a number of changes to the Personal Property Tax Law for the tax year 2016. We will be mailing out personal property statements to all of the businesses in the City of Walker in the middle of December (2015). All businesses in the State of Michigan are required to file one of three documents for 2016. The attached letter below (2016 Letter - Explains Which of the 3 Documents You Must File) is very important to read, as this will explain to you which document you should file. Please pay close attention to the filing deadlines - as if you miss certain ones, then you will not qualify - these deadlines are very important!!!
