Construction and Road Project Updates

2022 Local Road Improvement Program
Brownstown Township is pleased to announce the 2022 Local Road Improvement Program in partnership with Wayne County and the Brownstown Downtown Development Authority.

As in previous years, Brownstown Township will be working to utilize available funding sources to make investments into our local subdivision streets, prioritized by road condition data collected by our Township Engineers.

Township Updates PASER Study to Evaluate Road Conditions
April 19, 2021 – The Township Board approved to authorize Wade Trim to complete a PASER study of local roads.  PASER (Pavement Surface Evaluation and Rating) will grade the condition of the local roads.  This updated study will allow the Township to better focus current and future projects as Wayne County funding (or any other funding source) becomes available.  Once completed, the study will be published on this web page.
