The Brownstown Township Manager serves as the chief administrative officer for the Township, appointed by and receiving policy direction from the Board of Trustees. The Township Manager is responsible for planning, recommending, and implementing services to meet policy requirements and address community needs, as well as overseeing the organization and direction of Township departments and ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory obligations. The Township Manager facilitates the flow and understanding of ideas and information between elected officials, employees, residents and stakeholders in the community.
